Dear Parents & Students,

Although there is no known case of Coronavirus within the Hiawatha’s Martial Arts community, I am keenly aware of the significant uptick of cases in our neighboring towns.  Over these past few weeks I have evaluated the evolving situation and how we can best support the health and safety of our students and families.  It became apparent that the risks of keeping our community together outweighed the potential benefits of social distancing. As such, we will close the Academy for 2 weeks while closely monitoring the situation.  All memberships will be put on-hold until further communication with you in the coming weeks.

Many small business owners are making the tough decisions to close in efforts to promote social distancing and as a precaution to help limit the spread of the Coronavirus. When possible lets continue to support our local businesses – ordering online, delivery service or purchasing gift certificates.

We are a strong community, and we are all in this together.  Your understanding and patience are greatly appreciated while we try to understand the implications of closing the Academy.

Wishing you safety and good health!

Warm regards,

Hiawatha’s Martial Arts Academy
